​​六合赤岩の風景は、自然と人の営みが長い時間をかけて折り重なり、形づくられてきた。この土地の公民館は、人々が集い、言葉を交わし、関係を築いてきた場である。本作では、地域の桑の葉や植物、土を素材に用い、それらを植物繊維とともに格子状に組み、机上へと展開している。風景と人との関わりから生まれる文化や関係性の層をたどりながら、この地の構造がいまも編まれ続けていることを示そうとする試みである。

The landscape of Akaiwa in Kuni has been shaped over a long period of time through the layered relations between nature and human life. The local community center has long served as a place where people gather, speak, and form relationships.

In this work, mulberry leaves, local plants, and soil are integrated with plant fibers and arranged in a grid-like structure across a tabletop. By tracing the strata of culture and connection formed through the ongoing relationship between people and the land, the work reflects on how the structure of this place continues to be woven over time.
